Vietnam leather, footwear and luggage Association (Lefaso) and the United States footwear distributors Retailers Association (FDRA) representatives met in Vietnam recently. At the meeting, experts mentioned that once the TPP agreement was signed, it would bring great opportunities for the Vietnamese footwear industry to export to the United States, because the tariffs on Vietnamese shoes exported to the United States would be almost zero at that time.
